Logo Design for Mayor Ballard's Pack the Pantries

The Department of Public Works is committed to doing its part in taking the lead to support Mayor Ballard's City-wide Food Initiative "Pack the Pantries." Please join in our efforts to assist those less fortunate than us in filling a DPW truck with NON-PERISHABLE food to be donated to Gleaners Food Bank. Indy residents need your help!

The City of Indianapolis asked us to help design a logo to represent Mayor Ballard's new food bank initiative.

Update #1 - Designing a Unique Holiday Gift

So far, our first annual Miles Design adopt-a-family for Christmas program has been a success. Or at least it seems that way to us. We're currently attempting to adopt a family of eight, or two smaller families. I'll let you do the math of all the possible combinations. We're awaiting paperwork this week to get our official confirmation.

Our plan is to block out December 5th as our "shopping day" and December 12th as our wrapping and delivering day. If anyone is interested in joining in on the holiday cheer, drop us a line.

I've just been reminded over the past few days how incredibly blessed we truly are. And I'd challenge you to join us in a time of looking past the news media and focusing on your blessings. Thanks again to everyone who is partnering with us in our program. We are so thankful for everyone who has gotten us to where we are this year. We'll have more updates soon. More to come...

Designing a Unique Holiday Gift

For those of you who have enjoyed our past holiday cards and fun little excursions like HolidayCow.com, we're excited to let you in on a little secret. This year, we're taking a different spin on holiday gifts. We're giving your gift to someone else.

With the roller coaster news from Wall Street this season, we thought this would be a great year to share with those less fortunate. We're still working out the details, but we've decided to use the money we would have spent on you this Christmas to adopt a family in need. And don't worry. We're so excited about what's ahead in this process, we're planning to document our excursion and share in the fun here on our blog.

So stay tuned. There are more good things ahead. And in spite of what the media might have many of us thinking, we're blessed to say, "business is good." And we're lucky to have friends and clients like you. If you have any ideas for our adopt-a-family project, we'd love to hear them.
